Welcome to Peter's Wish!

     Peter's Wish, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2006 to inspire and empower youth to grow into greatness.   
     
     Peter's Wish was inspired by an amazing little boy named Peter Darryl Colucci.  Peter courageously fought a tough battle with Non-Hodgkins Disease Lymphoma for over a year and a half before dying at the age of 10 in 1984.  His last wish was just to have the opportunity to grow up.  

     Our goal is to help youth grow up to live fulfilled and meaningful lives - just like the one Peter wished for.  We believe the values of selfless service and education can best lead to a fulfilled and meaningful life.  We want to help youth understand this truth by serving their community and pursuing higher education. 
 
 Our Mission: 
Peter's Wish, Inc. awards scholarships to youth who demonstrate a strong service commitment to their communities.   
     We do not just talk about Service and Education - we make it happen.  The Peter's Wish Community Service Scholarship requires high school seniors to perfom at least 30 hours of community service to earn their $1,500 scholarship.  In that way, we are a helping organization:
     
     - We help youth to realize the rewarding and enriching experience of community service. 
     
     - We help youth to seek higher education by assisting with funding.
     
     - We help other non-profits and the community by requiring at least 30 service hours of our scholarship winners.
     
     - We help universities, colleges, and trade schools by sending our scholarships direct to the institution to pay for the winner's tuition.

     Peter's Wish has been designated as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt public charity by the Internal Revenue Service. All donations to Peter's Wish directly impacts your local community and its youth.  Please help us by contributing below.
